Birdseye Maple chest is Lauren choice.

This handcrafted custom cedar hope chest was made as a College graduation gift for Alan and Susan's daughter, Lauren . She chose Hard Maple, Birdseye Maple and Aromatic Cedar from our list of woods for this special Heirloom Chest. It is a split panel style chest with a Heritage cushion lid,  and original base. A Quilt size, it measured 42 inches wide 19 inches deep and 18 inches high .

Sometimes we use one end panel but for this chest two were used.  It's one of your many choices.

Lauren, we will be adding your engraved name plate to this special chest just before we ship it tomorrow. Also shown in this photo are the piano hinge for smooth opening, a counter- balance with 90 pounds of torque to make the heavy lid lift easier and stay open until you close it, and our signed and dated laser engraved Aromatic Cedar logo will also go here.

A closer look at the front shows some of our attention to detail by the book matching of the Birdseye Maple in the panels. It may seem like a little thing but as you add up all the little things we do, you begin to understand why these chests are so special for you.
The Heritage fabric on this cushion is a good choice to compliment the design and colors of this chest.
