Handcrafted custom cedar hope chest made for Nikki. Your mother chose Hard Maple and Aromatic Cedar from our list of woods for your special Heirloom  cedar chest as a birthday gift. It is in Horizontal style with a solid wood lid, and scroll cut feet and base trim. This chest is our Blanket size and measures 36 inches wide 19 inches deep and 22 inches high. She also chose to add a half tray of Aromatic cedar and a personal name plate.

Your chest has a hand rubbed finish of Natural  Velvit Oil which enlivens the  grain of Hard Maple with soft luster.  This spacious blanket size chest features a half tray and floor of aromatic cedar and measures 36 inches wide, 
19 inches deep, and 22 inches high.

Counter balanced hinges allow easy access into family keepsakes.  Lid remains up on your cedar chest 
until you close it.

With so many options to choose from, it's easy to make your cedar chest a special one. To keep the clean look of this piece, your mother chose our standard wooden top and to keep it from warping,  we used three strong ash support rails attached with sliding fasteners which allow the wood to move as humidity changes over the seasons, yet remain flat.

These Hard Maple scroll feet are made in the Pennsylvania Amish country. Graceful yet sturdy, together with the trim rail supporting the box, they form a solid base.

A half tray of unfinished aromatic cedar helps keep things organized and, along with the floor, adds the traditional cedar scent to the chest. . Our lasered cedar Logo is signed and dated by mrcedar himself, only after the chest passes
